Tear down the wall
then build it up again,
not the one by Trump
or for the division of men.
My analogy for life
separating I from them,
hoarding all of my anxiety
a stockpile of mayhem.
Not quite as attractive
as a hideaway or a lair,
more of a penitentiary
created by despair.
No need to lock up
and throw away the key,
it possesses no door
no sparkle of light to see.
Not held against my will
no physical blockade,
this dark hole that I’m in
was pathetically self-made.
If you made it you can unmake it.. always remember that 🙂
